Protected Species Survey

Certain UK habitats and species are protected by UK and European law.  It is thus a legal offence to damage or destroy habitats or to kill or injure these species.  This does not mean that your project cannot proceed, rather that it is necessary to firstly evaluate through Ecological Assessment whether your plan or project will impact upon any of these ecological features and whether there is appropriate mitigation which could be put in place to ameliorate those impacts.
